The NAIOP Southern California chapter, a leading association for developers, owners and investors in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate has revealed its 2024 Executive Committee and Board of Directors. These individuals are esteemed leaders from top commercial real estate firms in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
Leading the NAIOP SoCal 2024 Executive Committee is president Eric Paulsen (pictured) from Kidder Mathews. Other members include president-elect Mark Mattis from Avison Young; VP Stephane Wandel representing The Orden Company; treasurer Brooke Birtcher Gustafson of Birtcher Development LLC; secretary Brian Baker of JPMorgan Chase; programs and education Liaison Fran Inman representing Majestic Realty Co.; with past president Justin McCusker hailing from C.J. Segerstrom & Sons.
“I am grateful to my colleagues for entrusting me with the leadership role at NAIOP’s second largest chapter,” said Paulsen enthusiastically. “I am excited about what lies ahead in 2024 as we tackle challenges while also having fun together through networking events like our golf tournaments, Night at the Fights, and Awards Gala.”
He continued by acknowledging that there will be difficulties due to market stressors as well as game-changing legislation on the ballot such as AB 1000 which seeks to eliminate industrial development or AB13 which aims to dismantle Prop13 tax protections.”With all these factors coming into play next year,” he added,”it is crucial for one to be a member of NAIOP.”
