NAIOP Southern California has revealed its 2024 Executive Committee and Board of Directors, consisting of top executives from renowned commercial real estate companies in Los Angeles and Orange counties. The NAIOP SoCal 2024 Executive Committee is led by president Eric Paulsen (pictured) from Kidder Mathews, with Mark Mattis from Avison Young as the president-elect. Other members include Stephane Wandel from The Orden Company as VP, Brooke Birtcher Gustafson representing Birtcher Development LLC as treasurer, JPMorgan Chase’s Brian Baker serving as secretary, Fran Inman of Majestic Realty Co. handling programs and education liaison duties, and Justin McCusker representing C.J. Segerstrom & Sons.
Paulsen expressed his gratitude for being chosen to lead the second largest chapter of NAIOP in 2024 while acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead due to market stress and upcoming legislation such as AB1000 which aims to eliminate industrial development and AB13 which could dismantle Prop 13 tax protections. Despite these obstacles however he remains optimistic about networking opportunities through events like golf tournaments, Night at the Fights,and Awards Gala.
