"Midtown Lease Extended: HDSA Expands Long-Term Agreement"

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA) has recently renewed their lease for 10 years at 505 Eighth Ave in the Garment District. The nonprofit, which provides support to individuals with Huntington’s disease, has expanded their space on the 14th floor from 6,870 to 7,443 square feet.

According to Allen Gurevich of GFP Real Estate who represented both parties in the transaction: “Over time, HDSA had outgrown its previous location and was seeking a more modern and functional office layout that better suited their needs.”

Originally known as the Hoover Building and designed by architect Chester James Storm in 1926, this building offers a total of over 275,000 square feet across its twenty-five stories. Amenities include a staffed lobby available around-the-clock as well as keycard access for added security.

This recent expansion reaffirms HDSA’s commitment to serving those affected by Huntington’s disease within Midtown Manhattan.
