Grosvenor has recently finished construction on an impressive athletic facility at the British International School of Washington (BISW) in DC. This development is located next to Grosvenor’s ongoing project at 3300 Whitehaven Street, which involves replacing a Georgetown University office with 280 Class A rental apartments.
The new dual-use facility serves as both a gymnasium and auditorium, providing top-of-the-line amenities such as basketball, volleyball, futsal, and badminton courts. With seating for up to 198 spectators, it is the perfect space for school events and sports games. Additionally, this redevelopment will include new play areas and expansion space for BISW students.
According to BISW principal Ian Piper: “We are beyond thrilled about our new gymnasium.
