Simone Development Companies recently announced the addition of two new long-term leases, totaling 10,300 square feet of medical and office space at the Hutchinson Metro Center in Bronx, NY. The North Bronx Orthopedic and Spine Group has leased 5,121 square feet at 1200 Waters Place while MJHS Health System has taken up 5,179 square feet at Tower One. Founded in 1907, MJHS offers healthcare services such as home care and hospice in New York City while North Bronx Orthopedic and Spine Group specializes in outpatient care.
According to Joanna Simone, principal & president of leasing and property management operations for Simone Development Companies: “The Hutchinson Metro Center is a mixed-use campus that includes medical facilities along with office spaces for retail outlets,hospitality businesses,and academic institutions as well as federal,state,and city agencies.” CBRE’s Bill Jordanand Harly Stevens represented MJHS during these lease agreements which were handled internally by Simone.
This recent development adds another positive milestone to the growing list of over eighty leading businesses,such as healthcare providers,and educational institutions that have already made their home on this bustling campus.
