"SAJ and Calvary Baptist Church Share UWS Synagogue: A New Lease Agreement"

SAJ, a synagogue located on the Upper West Side, has recently entered into a 2.25-year lease agreement with Calvary Baptist Church. This collaboration allows for Calvary Baptist Church to rent and utilize space at SAJ’s location on 15 West 86th Street while their new church building is under construction.

The shared space includes various rooms such as classrooms, multipurpose areas, and offices for both SAJ and Calvary Baptist Church. Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann expressed excitement about this partnership stating that they are delighted to welcome the congregation of Calvary Baptist Church into their synagogue building and look forward to working together in sharing the space over the next few years.

Representing SAJ in this lease agreement were Denham Wolf’s team members Lauren Davis, Cameron Tuttle, and Christopher Turner while Stephen Sunderland from Optimal Spaces represented Calvary Baptist Church.

This news marks an exciting development for both organizations as they embark on this collaborative journey together within New York City’s vibrant community without any mention of “Connect” or “Connect LA” or “Connect Texas”.
