Lument announced a significant investment in its real estate capital markets business on Monday, expanding the range of solutions available for multifamily and commercial real estate markets. The initiative will be led by senior managing director Rick Warren from the firm’s Irvine office, offering a diverse selection of lending options such as banks, debt funds, life companies, and conduits.
CEO James Flynn stated that Lument is dedicated to creating a comprehensive platform of capital services to become the go-to destination for clients’ financing needs. By broadening their offerings and maximizing synergies within the company, Lument aims to exceed client expectations.
The existing team at Lument’s real estate capital markets division includes managing director Ryan Norwood. Recently joining them are directors Ralph Wurzburger and Joshua Perew who bring over ten years of experience in originating debt from various sources including Walker & Dunlop.
Warren explained that their goal is to provide access to construction loans, bridge loans permanent financing,and equity placement for investors beyond those seeking agency or balance sheet financing alone. He also mentioned plans for adding more top talent with industry expertise across all asset classes onto their platform in addition to Wurzburger and Perew’s extensive relationships with clients.
