Goulston and Storrs Appoints First Female Managing Director

Goulston & Storrs, a leading law firm with offices in Boston, New York, and Washington D.C., has announced the appointment of Michelle Porter as co-managing director alongside William Dillon. Effective April 1st, 2024, Porter brings over 25 years of experience in estate planning and business strategies to her new role.

As the first woman to hold this position at Goulston & Storrs, Porter is committed to driving excellence and promoting collaboration while also championing diversity initiatives within the firm. She will work closely with Dillon to further expand the firm’s reputation for exceptional client service.

In addition to her leadership responsibilities as co-managing director, Porter will continue her previous role as Co-Chair of the Private Client & Trust Group. Meanwhile Martin Fantozzi will transition back into his litigator role where he advises REITs (real estate investment trusts), investment firms and academic institutions.

“I am thrilled for this opportunity to lead Goulston & Storrs alongside Bill,” said Porter. “Together we look forward towards continued growth while maintaining our commitment towards providing top-notch legal services across all practice areas.”

The announcement comes as Goulston & Storrs prepares for its move into a new location in Boston which spans four floors totaling 100000 square feet – an exciting development that reflects their ongoing success.
