Presidium is in the final stages of securing approval from McKinney town officials for their ambitious $750 million mixed-use project. The development, set to begin construction in mid-2024, will revitalize the downtown area and bring new apartments, offices, and retail space to the community. This project is expected to have a significant economic impact of over $930 million and generate $38 million in tax revenue.
The 28-acre development will include four apartment buildings with a total of 1,200 units as well as 200,000 square feet of office space. Plans also include retail spaces such as restaurants and cafes within this vibrant mixed-use complex.
Dating back to 1910, McKinney’s historic cotton mill was once a bustling center for cotton processing and textile manufacturing. With this exciting new project on the horizon, it is clear that Presidium has big plans for revitalizing this iconic landmark in McKinney’s history.
