NorthPoint Development, a Kansas City-based real estate company, has recently acquired several properties at a prominent intersection in St. Louis previously owned by Lux Living. The acquisition is part of NorthPoint’s plan to construct a new apartment complex on the site.
According to the Kansas City Business Journal, NorthPoint purchased these properties through intermediaries and plans to demolish seven vacant houses from 1903 in order to make room for their development project. These properties are conveniently located near South Kingshighway Boulevard and Interstate 64.
With numerous ongoing apartment projects in Kansas City and over $500 million worth of industrial developments across the St. Louis region since 2015, NorthPoint has established itself as an expert player in both markets. On the other hand, Lux Living – based out of St.Louis – has also made its mark with recent successful apartment projects currently underway in Kansas City.
