CBRE facilitated the lease of a 41,500-square-foot industrial space at 7615 Siempre Viva Rd. in San Diego’s Otay Mesa submarket to HK Trans LLC, one of the largest by square footage in Otay Mesa this year. Ramin Salehi, John Smith and Joe Smith from CBRE represented HK Trans LLC while Mark Lewkowitz and Chris Holder from Colliers represented DG Siempre Viva Property Owner LP.
HK Trans LLC is a full-service supply chain logistics business headquartered in South Gate that wanted to move its manufacturing operations near the U.S.-Mexico border due to increased demand in the Cali-Baja region; this new lease will help them increase production turnaround times and reduce risk associated with supply chain issues as they occupy approximately half of the building.
