New Braunfels River Mill Construction Begins

Casey Development is taking the first step towards realizing its vision of a new mixed-use project in New Braunfels. The company has begun demolishing most of the old mill that had been vacant and graffiti strewn for some time. This will lead to a new mixed-use development being constructed by Casey Development, which closed on the River Mill property in July 2019.

Gensler Austin is working with Casey Development to create this mixed-use development; it will include residential, restaurant, bar, retail and hotel components when complete.
Demolition is expected to continue for between 60 and 90 days before construction can begin; this could be as soon as late 2020 or early 2021 with an estimated two and a half year timeline for completion once started.
