According to retail leasing attorney Barry Edwards of Greenberg Glusker, deals are taking longer to close compared to previous years. At the recent Connect Retail West 2023 conference in Los Angeles, industry experts discussed the barriers they have encountered in finalizing deals this year and whether these challenges will persist into 2024.
