Alexandria Real Estate Equities has formed an exclusive partnership with long-standing tenant Eli Lilly and Company to expand the latter’s Gateway Labs model in the thriving San Diego life science cluster. The new Gateway Labs site, set to open in the first half of 2024, will be located in Alexandria’s University Town Center submarket.

The upcoming Lilly Gateway Labs site in San Diego will feature flexibly designed move-in-ready laboratories as well as fully integrated nontechnical spaces. It will also offer open collaboration areas, core equipment, operational support services along with access to a wide range of amenities provided by Alexandria such as wellness programs,f fitness facilities and conference space.
