Grocery Outlet, a subsidiary of Grocery Outlet Holding Corp., recently launched its sixth store in Maryland at Freedom Village in Eldersburg. The brand, established in 1946, prides itself on providing an affordable shopping experience by offering discounted prices on well-known products through strategic inventory purchases. Independent owners Gregory and Amber Phelps secured a lease for the 22,069-square-foot space with the help of Continental Realty Corporation’s Cherene Keenan.
According to Phelps, Freedom Village is an ideal location for Grocery Outlet due to its proximity to Goodwill Industries and the presence of value-conscious consumers who align with their budget-friendly concept. Together with Goodwill Industries, they aim to cater to the needs of the local community.
