$55 Million Holyoke Affordable Housing Project Breaks Ground

City officials in Holyoke, Massachusetts joined executives from WinnDevelopment and housing lenders to celebrate the groundbreaking of a $55.3 million project that will transform the long-vacant Appleton Mill complex into Attain Downtown East. This new development will provide 88 affordable senior housing units.

Located in downtown Holyoke, this historic mill complex will offer loft-style apartments with various amenities including a community building connected by a skybridge. The project is specifically designed for seniors aged 55 and above with varying levels of affordability.

The funding for this initiative was made possible through federal, state, and private sources such as Bank of America, MassHousing, and Enterprise Bank. The completion date for this project is set for 2025.
