A new development is set to transform the downtown Phoenix skyline with two eight-story buildings. The project, known as Eastlake Park Mixed-Use, will feature a multifamily community and a hotel, along with ground floor retail and restaurant spaces in each building. Additionally, there will be an attached six-level parking garage on the west side of the property. Berry Holdings owns this ambitious project while Ayers Saint Gross has been tasked with its design.
The proposed plan involves demolishing most of the existing buildings on South 13th Street except for one that falls under historic protection laws. This prime location near Washington and Jefferson avenues is ideal for mid-rise developments similar to those already present in the surrounding area. However, before construction can begin, Berry must obtain rezoning approval from city officials.
Conveniently located just one block away from a light rail station, this site has been deemed suitable for increased density by Phoenix city staff members.
