RXR, the master planner of Veridea, a sprawling 1,100-acre mixed-use development in Apex, North Carolina has announced that Samet Corporation will oversee construction for the project. With their expertise in pre-construction and construction management services, Samet will lead Phase I of development set to begin in early 2024. This initial phase will feature approximately 500 multifamily units and over 1 million square feet of retail and commercial space.
Veridea is conveniently situated just two miles south of historic downtown Apex. RXR’s plans for Phase I include new roadways as well as essential infrastructure and utilities before commencing work on multifamily units later in the year.
Upon completion, this expansive mixed-use community aims to offer up to an impressive total of 8,000 residential units along with over three million square feet dedicated to retail shops , hotels , civic spaces , twelve million square feet allocated for commercial use . Additionally it shall also house Wake Technical Community College spanning across an area measuring around three hundred forty thousand square-feet .
