Lactalis Heritage Dairy, a leading dairy manufacturer and marketer of popular brands such as Kraft Natural Cheese and Knudsen, is expanding its presence in Chicago’s West Loop. The company, which is part of the world’s largest dairy company headquartered in France, has announced plans to add 110 new jobs at its corporate office located at 540 W. Madison Street.
The expansion will include an additional 13,000 square feet of office space to accommodate the growing number of employees. Lactalis has partnered with real estate advisor Savills for this lease agreement and office expansion.
This year alone, Lactalis has already added over a hundred new jobs across various business functions in Chicago. By January 2024, the total number of positions at their Chicago location will reach 230 – representing an impressive growth rate exceeding 280% since opening their doors just last year. With the U.S now being Lactalis’ second largest market after France,the company shows no signs slowing down anytime soon.
