Touchstone, a Seattle-based commercial real estate firm, and Portman Holdings, an Atlanta-based real estate development company, along with joint-venture partner Lionstone Investments have officially topped off their mixed-use buildings in the new “Chapter Buildings” project. The project is located in the heart of Seattle’s U-District and is part of one of the nation’s fastest-growing innovation districts.
The two buildings within the project are known as “Chapter Building I,” a 12-story building spanning 252,000 square feet at 4530 12th Avenue NE; and “Chapter Building II,” a 10-story building covering153,000 square feet at4536 Brooklyn Avenue NE. In addition to these two structures,the property also features an8,000-square-foot public open space calledthe”Brooklyn Cut,” which will serve asa connection between the two buildings.
