Enterprise Community Development is preparing to commence construction on two new affordable housing projects, Park Montgomery Apartments and Park Montgomery West, in Silver Spring, Maryland. The development will consist of 76 newly built apartments at Park Montgomery West and the renovation of the existing 141-unit building at Park Montgomery Apartments. This project has been made possible through a combination of Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) – with 9% allocated for the new apartments and an additional 4% for the existing structure.
Located on MDOT MTA’s Purple Line just two miles east of downtown Silver Spring, both developments are conveniently situated near public transportation. Originally constructed in 1971, Park Montgomery is a towering high-rise apartment complex with an attached parking garage spanning two levels.
