"Revitalized: Century-Old Charlotte Mill Transformed into Mixed-Use Project"

The Savona Mill, a historic textile mill in Charlotte, has undergone a $70 million renovation and is now ready for tenants. Led by Portman Holdings, the project features 180,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The revitalized mill also includes open-air patios and a rooftop deck perfect for hosting music events and community gatherings.

In February 2022, redevelopment work began on the 108-year-old mill which boasts exposed brick walls, hardwood flooring,and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. The ceilings have been freshly painted to brighten up the area.

According to reports from Charlotte Business Journal,the ground floor will primarily house food-and-beverage retailers while office users can lease one of the three available floors with spacious floor plates measuring at least50 ,000 square feet each.The Century-Old Charlotte Mill has been transformed into an impressive mixed-use project that combines modern amenities with its rich history.
