Samaritan’s Purse, a charitable organization, has acquired an 82,000-square-foot flex/office and warehouse space in Baltimore County for $10.5 million from GPT Properties Trust. The property will serve as a hub for receiving, processing and shipping shoebox gifts to underprivileged children as part of Operation Christmas Child. This global initiative has been running since 1993 and distributes millions of holiday gift packages every year.
The newly purchased property boasts features such as a 16-foot ceiling height, multiple future dock positions and ample parking. It will replace the organization’s previous leased spaces in Columbia and Baltimore City.
Lee & Associates’ Ned Brady and Eric Skogmo represented the buyer while Cushman & Wakefield’s David Dannenfelserand John Boote represented the seller in this sales transaction.
With its new permanent home secured in Baltimore County, Operation Christmas Child can continue spreading joy to children around the world through their generous donations.
