Boston Global Investors (BGI) has reached a significant milestone in the construction of its 10 World Trade building in Boston’s Seaport district. The 17-story, 555,250-square-foot lab and research facility is on track to open in the fourth quarter of 2024 after breaking ground in March of last year.
According to BGI Vice President John Hynes, “We are delighted to mark this Topping Off ceremony for our groundbreaking project that reflects our commitment towards sustainable and inclusive real estate developments. With innovation at its core, 10 World Trade showcases diversity while creating spaces that inspire and bring communities together.”
The building has already received SITES Pre-Certification and is aiming for LEED Gold certification. It also holds the distinction of being the first Double Platinum WiredScore and SmartScore certified structure on the East Coast. Wheelock Street Capital and PGIM Real Estate are partnering with BGI on this development venture.
