The iconic TC Energy Center, a 56-story skyscraper in downtown Houston, is now on the market for $285 million. This impressive office tower boasts a unique red granite exterior and gothic-inspired architecture.

Despite its prominent presence in the city skyline, TC Energy Center has recently faced financial challenges. In March of this year, S&P Global reported that it held the largest delinquent loan in the country at $96 million.

Built by Houston-based Hines in October 1983 and later sold to M-M Properties joint venture, TC Energy Center underwent a $22 million renovation to enhance its appeal. The upgrades included an 8,000-square-foot restaurant space, tenant lounge area, conference center and collaborative workspaces on the mezzanine level. Currently at 70% occupancy rate,
