PUD Approves $400 Million Buffalo Affordable Housing Project

Habitat, a leading multifamily developer and property manager, has successfully obtained approval for its $400 million Marine Drive Apartments redevelopment in Buffalo, New York. This ambitious project is being carried out in collaboration with Duvernay + Brooks and the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority. It will feature approximately 700 apartment units spread across several buildings, making it one of the largest affordable housing initiatives in the city.

Construction on this development is set to commence towards late 2024 and is expected to be completed by 2029. Habitat’s Marine Drive project aims to replace outdated structures with modern and affordable housing options while ensuring that current residents are not displaced during the phased development process.
