Boise Cascade Acquires West Palm Beach Distribution Facility

Boise Cascade, a publicly traded company known for producing engineered wood products and plywood, has recently acquired a new 120,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in West Palm Beach, FL. The purchase was made from Brown Distributing for $31 million at a rate of $258 per square foot.

This addition to their Building Materials Distribution division will provide increased storage and service capabilities for their Pompano Beach branch. Boise Cascade’s growth strategy focuses on expanding within their current markets, as evidenced by this significant investment. According to Jim Wickham of Boise Cascade,”This expansion aligns with our goal of providing top-quality products and reliable service to our customers.”

The facility was originally built in 1987 along I-95 and boasts 91,120 square feet of climate-controlled warehouse space as well as two stories totaling 20,000 square feet dedicated to office use.
