Nuveen Real Estate Buys Two Neighborhood Shopping Centers in Georgia and North Carolina

Nuveen Real Estate has acquired two neighborhood-oriented shopping centers in the submarkets of Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. Roswell Wieuca in Atlanta is a 74,370-square-foot grocery-anchored asset located in Buckhead – one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the area. Since 1954 this center has been a convenient gathering place for locals. Specialty Shops SouthPark is an open air lifestyle shopping center located 65,362 square feet within Charlotte’s office concentration surrounded by some of its most prestigious neighborhoods.

Hill Partners managed and leased these assets since 2014 before Nuveen acquired them to add to their growing retail portfolio with focus on reintroducing open air retail exposure for institutional clients which have come out stronger than ever post pandemic as part of a healthy portfolio mix.
