JV Secures $100M Construction Debt for Skokie Mixed-Use Development

A new mixed-use development in Skokie, Illinois has secured $100 million in construction financing through a joint venture between Tucker Development and Wingspan Development Group. The project, known as The Henry at Harms Woods, will feature 245 luxury apartments and 49 rental townhomes along with approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial space.

According to Aaron Tucker, president and chief investment officer for Tucker Development, the lenders showed confidence in the project despite challenges in obtaining financing. Kennedy Wilson and a national insurance concern provided the funding for this first new-construction Class A rental property to be built in over ten years.

Designed by HKM Architects + Planners and constructed by Nicholas & Associates starting this spring near Westfield Old Orchard , The Henry at Harms Woods is set to become a premier destination for upscale living. This major milestone marks an exciting step forward for the development team as they work towards bringing their vision to life.
