Hillwood Acquires Large Ft. Worth Infill Property

Hillwood, a well-known presence in the Ft. Worth area, has recently acquired an entire city block located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Bounded by 6th and 7th Streets to the north and south, and Calhoun and Jones Streets to the east and west, this property was previously owned by Oncor for many years. With its prime location providing ample flexibility for development opportunities such as office spaces or mixed-use projects, Hillwood’s Steve Aldrich states that they are currently evaluating their options.

Having established strong ties with Fort Worth over three decades ago through their partnership with Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport’s development project spanning over 27,000 acres housing more than 560 companies generating $111 billion in regional economic impact while creating approximately 66,000 direct jobs; Hillwood is committed to investing further into this growing city.

Located at the forefront of downtown’s rapidly expanding southern corridor adjacent to Texas A&M Fort Worth campus and near The Convention Center; this property presents a promising opportunity for future growth.
