A Houston-based developer has recently acquired 12 acres of land in Bexar County for the purpose of constructing a new rental community. The property, located within the master-planned Lemon Creek Ranch community in Boerne, just outside San Antonio, was purchased by Allen Harrison Cos.
According to reports from the San Antonio Business Journal, this multifamily project will consist of 349 units spread across six three-story buildings. Residents can look forward to a variety of amenities such as a pool, beer garden, community courtyard and dog park. Additionally, there will be a resident clubhouse equipped with co-working spaces and parcel delivery services along with access to a 24-hour fitness center. Notably contributing to its appeal is its proximity to an H-E-B supermarket (see photo), which will serve as an anchor tenant for nearby shopping centers.
Construction on these apartments is slated to commence within the next year and initial occupancy is expected by 2025. Allen Harrison Cos., serving as both developer and general contractor for this project.
The larger Lemon Creek Ranch development plan includes plans for approximately 600-700 apartment units along with about120 hotel rooms spanning nearly472000 square feetof office spaceand close-to150000square feetof retail outletsand restaurants.
