Transwestern Real Estate Services recently facilitated a 46,000-square-foot lease for Picklemall Inc. at 5555 Town Line Road in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The flagship location will be the first of many planned facilities as the company aims to establish a total of 50 Picklemall locations within the next two years. This particular site was previously occupied by Toys “R” Us and will serve as Picklemall’s second facility alongside their existing Arizona location.
Picklemall has enlisted Transwestern’s Sports & Entertainment group, led by Managing Director Tim Katt and Executive Managing Director Larry Serota, as their exclusive real estate provider. The innovative indoor pickleball concept transforms vacant mall space into climate-controlled environments where players can schedule games and enhance skills through its mobile app and on-site technology. CEO West Shaw leads the company with backing from billionaire financier Steve Kuhn, founder of Major League Pickleball.
