Albert Lopez, senior retail specialist at Progressive Real Estate Partners, recently facilitated a 15-year ground lease for an approximately 3,273-square-foot drive-thru restaurant in Ontario. The landlord was represented by Lopez while KFC was represented by Charlie Cangelosi of Irish Commercial.
Construction has already begun on the site and is expected to be completed by mid-2024. The building will undergo renovations to align with KFC’s latest prototype design. Restaurant Brands, the franchisee for this location and operator of over 70 other KFC restaurants in Southern California.
Lopez stated that the property’s strategic location and proximity to In-N-Out Burger’s expansion made it an ideal choice for KFC’s growth plans in the area. He also mentioned his excitement about their opening in 2024.
