PMB, a leading healthcare real estate developer, has joined forces with Santa Clara Valley Healthcare to commence construction on a state-of-the-art medical office building in San Jose. This 10-story, 230,000-square-foot facility will be the tenth Valley Health Center (VHC) serving Santa Clara County and is strategically located at the VTA Bascom Station light rail stop along Southwest Expressway. It will provide convenient access for over 90,000 residents within a ten-minute drive and more than 11,000 households within walking distance.
In June of 2022 PMB and their equity partner Harrison Street acquired the office component of VTA’s Bascom Station mixed-use master plan. Both projects are currently underway.
According to Ben Rosenfeld, Senior Vice President of Development at PMB: “We are honored to collaborate with Santa Clara Valley Healthcare in developing cutting-edge medical facilities through this Public-Private Partnership.”
The construction of VHC San Jose is expected to be completed by late 2025 with plans for LEED Silver certification. This partnership between PMB and Santa Clara Valley Healthcare marks an exciting milestone in advancing healthcare infrastructure for the community.
