IWC Schaffhausen and Panerai, two renowned Swiss luxury watch brands, will soon be opening their doors in the former Burberry building on Newbury Street in Boston. This news was reported by the Boston Business Journal after years of vacancy for the building.
In addition to these new additions, Vacheron Constantin is also set to open a boutique nearby. Other esteemed brands such as Patek Philippe, Hublot, and Breitling are also planning to establish boutiques on the same block closest to Public Garden. These developments mark a significant revival for Newbury Street which had faced nearly 60 vacancies in 2020 but now has less than 10.
This announcement highlights the growing interest of luxury retailers in this prime location and signifies a positive trend for Newbury Street’s retail landscape.
