National homebuilder Taylor-Morrison recently announced its expansion into the build-to-rent (BTR) sector of the rental market. The BTR business, known as Yardly, has already launched over 20 projects in less than a year. One of their latest developments is a 353-unit rental community located in Charlotte called Yardly Alexandriana.
The project will be situated at the intersection of Alexandriana Road and Northlake Centre Parkway, conveniently near popular destinations such as Northlake Mall and interstates 77 and 485.
According to reports from the Charlotte Business Journal, Taylor Morrison acquired just over 48 acres for $18.2 million earlier this month at the project site. Construction is set to begin in mid-2024 with initial resident move-ins expected about a year later.
