"New 1 Million Square Foot Mixed-Use Development Emerges in Los Angeles' Arts District"

A new mixed-use development is currently being built in the bustling Arts District of Los Angeles. Spanning over one million square feet, this project will feature a six-story creative office building and a 35-story apartment tower with 475 units. The office building, known as Forge at Alloy, is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2024.

Carmel Partners has enlisted Mike Condon Jr., Brittany Winn, McKenna Gaskill, Pete Collins and Steve Marcussen from Cushman & Wakefield in Los Angeles to oversee leasing for Forge at Alloy.

The developers were drawn to the opportunity of creating a mixed-use project in the highly sought-after Arts District. This area has experienced significant growth and demand for both commercial and residential spaces. Will Cipes, Senior Vice President of Development at Carmel Partners stated that their goal is to establish an exceptional destination that offers a true live-work-play environment while embodying the industrial aesthetic and creative energy unique to this cultural hub within Los Angeles.
