North American Trade Schools (NATS) has selected Northwest Plaza in Baltimore City as the site for its new facility, where it will offer comprehensive trade programs through classroom instruction and hands-on training. The school has secured a 55,000 square foot space at the shopping center, making it the largest retail lease in Baltimore City this year. NATS is expected to complete its relocation from Security Square Mall in Baltimore County by next spring.
NATS specializes in providing education and job placement services for trades such as air conditioning, electrical work, heating systems, refrigeration technology and welding. With a tenant roster that includes Harvest Fare Supermarket,Roses department store,and Advanced Auto Parts among others,Northwest Plaza is now almost fully occupied at 97%. MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented NATS with a team led by Andrew Meeder and Mike Ruocco while Patricia Palumboand Paul Weinberg of Klein Enterprises acted on behalf ofthe landlord during negotiations for this transaction.
