“Developers are gearing up to replace a low-rise building in Downtown Atlanta with a new Moxy hotel. The prime location, situated at 329 Marietta St., will offer easy access to popular attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park.
Nexera Capital and Emerge Hospitality Group have joined forces for this project. According to the Atlanta Business Journal, plans for the 183-room hotel were submitted in early 2022 after the site was purchased for $4 million in June of that year.
Featuring various gathering spaces including a rooftop lounge, speakeasy bar and ground-level open-air bar, this Moxy by Marriott property is set to become an exciting addition to Downtown Atlanta’s hospitality scene. With over 125 locations worldwide already operating successfully under its brand name, including one in Midtown Atlanta since its opening back in 2019.”
