Ware Malcomb recently completed construction on a state-of-the-art office for Janus Henderson Investors in Chicago’s bustling Loop district. The 7,500-square-foot space, located at 71 South Wacker Drive, was designed and managed by Ware Malcomb in partnership with JLL. Thanks to their collaboration and expertise, the project achieved LEED Platinum certification.

Mark Schwamel AIA, Director of Interior Architecture & Design at Ware Malcomb expressed his pride in the team’s work: “Our team delivered a project that not only reflects the Janus Henderson brand but also meets the highest industry standards for sustainable design.” JLL played an integral role in this achievement by providing exceptional project management and LEED documentation services. Additionally, J.C. Anderson provided general contracting services for the project.

The office design caters to Janus Henderson’s hybrid workforce with meeting spaces, breakout areas, and lounges that foster collaboration among employees. To align with their commitment to sustainability, the space incorporates eco-friendly systems and materials throughout its layout.

This impressive accomplishment is just one example of how Ware Malcomb continues to excel as a leader in interior architecture and design within Chicago’s commercial real estate market.
