To remain competitive, college football teams must continuously upgrade their facilities. With the University of Houston joining the highly competitive Big 12 conference, they have recognized this need and are taking action. Thanks to a sponsorship from Memorial Hermann Health System, the university’s new $130 million football facility is set to begin construction.
The state-of-the-art Memorial Hermann Football Operations Center will span 105,000 square feet and serve as a hub for the university’s football program. It will feature cutting-edge sports performance centers and an academic support services suite in addition to a modern locker room, flexible spaces for student-athletes, and open areas for coaches and staff.
