With the University of Houston joining the highly competitive Big 12 conference, they have recognized this need and are taking action. Thanks to a sponsorship from Memorial Hermann Health System, the university’s new $130 million football facility is set to begin construction.
The state-of-the-art Memorial Hermann Football Operations Center will span 105,000 square feet and serve as a hub for the university’s football program. It will feature cutting-edge sports performance centers and an academic support services suite in addition to a modern locker room, flexible spaces for student-athletes, and open areas for coaches and staff.
