**Amalgamated Bank Signs Major Lease at 99 Park Avenue**

Amalgamated Bank has signed a 94,045-square-foot lease at 99 Park Avenue, marking the largest office deal to date at the 26-story, Class A office tower in Manhattan’s Midtown East neighborhood. The 15-year lease brings the building’s occupancy to 98%.

The union-owned bank will relocate its operations from 275 Seventh Avenue and will occupy part of the ground floor, along with the entire second, third, and fifth floors of 99 Park Avenue. The building, owned by Global Holdings since 1990, is currently undergoing a $30-million capital improvement program aimed at modernizing and enhancing the property.

“As our capital improvement program continues to progress, we’re committed to meeting the demand of best-in-class tenants and to elevating the standard of working on prestigious Park Avenue in New York City,” said Craig Panzirer, Senior Vice President and Director of Leasing at Global Holdings.

JLL’s Daoud Awad and Chris Kraus represented Amalgamated Bank in the lease transaction. Representing Global Holdings were Craig Panzirer and Alex Radmin in-house, along with JLL’s Paul Glickman, Diana Biasotti, Kristen Morgan, and Harrison Potter.
