Columbia Ventures has announced plans to construct a new mixed-use development in Blandtown, located on Huber Street between Howell Mill Road and Marietta Boulevard.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the project – named Huber West Midtown – will consist of two residential buildings with a total of 845 apartment units and approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space. The developer acquired five separate sites along Huber Street for $15.25 million in 2022.
Spanning nearly 9 acres, the site for Huber West Midtown will be developed in two phases and is expected to be fully completed by 2031.
On their website, Columbia Ventures boasts an impressive portfolio including multifamily and mixed-use projects across Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. In Atlanta specifically, they have delivered notable developments such as Quill at Edgewood Candler Park MARTA station (208 units) and Citizen O4W on the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta Beltline.
