Landmark Properties, in partnership with Peninsula U.S., has acquired a 67-acre site in Columbia, South Carolina. Construction is set to begin on a new student housing community featuring 197 units and 826 beds. The project will be managed by Landmark Cottage Construction, the in-house general contractor for Landmark Properties. Anticipated completion date for the community is August of 2026.
The fully furnished units will offer two to six bedroom floorplans and an array of amenities including an outdoor pool complex, sand volleyball court, sports simulator, fire pits and expansive clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center open around the clock. Additionally residents will have access to dedicated study spaces and computer lab.
Conveniently located at 1050 Idlewild Blvd., just over one mile from University of South Carolina’s main campus,the property sits adjacent to land designated for USC’s “Stadium Project.” This $1 billion modernization initiative plans on transforming more than eight hundred acres west of Williams-Brice Stadium into commercial and entertainment spaces.
