DICK’S Sporting Goods has announced plans to build a new regional distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas. This 800,000-square-foot facility is expected to bring 300 full-time jobs to the area over the next decade and will support DICK’S business operations in Texas as well as provide distribution services for over 100 stores across multiple states.
The distribution center will be situated on an expansive 89.5-acre site within Hillwood’s Risinger/35 Logistics Park at the intersection of Risinger Road and Old Burleson Road. The project is being developed by Hillwood Construction Services, known for their work on AllianceTexas.
Construction on the state-of-the-art facility is set to begin this fall with a groundbreaking ceremony. It is estimated that more than 800 temporary construction jobs will be created during this phase. The new distribution center is projected to open its doors in early 2026.
Representatives from JLL including Kris Bjorson, Jamie Galati, and Blake Rogers worked with DICK’S Sporting Goods throughout the planning process while GSR served as lead architect for this exciting project.
This expansion marks an important milestone for DICK’S Sporting Goods and demonstrates their commitment to growth and providing top-notch service across various regions of the country.
