Lumen Technologies has made the decision to sell its Broomfield offices and is currently holding an auction for the buildings. The starting bid for this expansive campus, which spans nearly 800,000 square feet, will be $6.5 million. As a publicly traded telecommunications company, Lumen is relocating its employees to various locations in downtown Denver and other areas.
The property sits on 55 acres within the Interlocken business park and includes four Class A office buildings, two parking garages, and a 9.45-acre undeveloped lot. Upon sale completion of this business park property will be mostly vacant with exception of an existing data center lease that provides income until the end of 2025.
Lumen Technologies was formed from multiple mergers within the telecommunications industry since 2013 including Level 3 Communications and CenturyLink Inc., among others. In addition to their Broomfield location,Lumen also previously occupied another office space in Littleton at700 W Mineral Ave.However,the company recently sold off this campus consisting of over63 acres,to Englewood-based Republic Investment Groupfor $50 million.
