Newmark has successfully secured 75,000 square feet of leases for the upcoming mixed-use development at 4650 Broadway in Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood. The project is set to be completed later this year and will be the largest new development in the area.
The leasing agents for this project are Newmark executive managing director Justin DiMare and director Christopher Ventura, representing owner and developer Arden Group. Among the tenants that have already signed on are School in the Square, an educational institution taking up 60,000 square feet of space on floors two and three with a regulation-size basketball court included. Fine Fare Supermarkets will also occupy a ground-floor corner lease for their flagship location, making it one of Inwood’s largest supermarkets.
There is still availability within the building including 36,000 square feet on floor two suitable for medical or education purposes with private entrances along Broadway that can potentially be combined into one space. Additionally there is another option available consisting of a basement level totaling at approximately16,500 square feet which also has its own private entrance onto Broadway. This property boasts an impressive total number of residences reaching up to 222 units.
