NAI Capital Commercial’s EVP David Knowlton and SVPs Kirby Greenlee and Mariko Beaver successfully completed a 75-year ground lease for 9.5 acres at the South Orange County Community College District ATEP campus in Tustin. The team expertly represented the landlord, SOCCCD, in this transaction valued at $264.8 million.
Advantech Co., a Taiwanese-based company specializing in industrial PCs and Internet of Things devices, has been approved by the SOCCCD board to construct an office building on their Advanced Technology and Education Park (ATEP) in Tustin Legacy area. This six-story building will cover 108,942 square feet while an additional two-story warehouse facility spanning over 78,837 square feet will also be built for non-hazardous industrial computer-related products.
This new development is set to become one of Orange County’s largest R&D projects with its prime location at Red Hill Avenue and Victory Boulevard covering almost ten acres. It will serve as Advantech’s biggest campus yet as they plan to relocate their U.S operations from Irvine’s Spectrum area to this new North American headquarters by late 2025.
