70s Themed Restaurant Bar Coming to San Diego Gaslamp Quarter

Urban Property Group (UPG) has successfully secured a 12,000 square foot lease for the highly anticipated Good Night John Boy restaurant and bar at 401 G St. in Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. The establishment will be taking over the former location of The Tin Roof and is expected to open its doors in early Spring of 2024.

This unique concept, inspired by vintage nightclubs from the ’70s era, will be the first of its kind on the West Coast and marks FHG’s fifth location nationwide. With features such as disco balls, an LED dance floor, and a soundtrack filled with ’70s hits, Good Night John Boy is sure to transport patrons back in time.

FHG CEO Michael Schwartz expressed his excitement for their expansion into San Diego stating that they anticipate great success with this new concept in this vibrant city.

The landlord was represented by UPG’s Dave Maxwell and Bill Schrader while Main & Main acted as representatives for FHG during negotiations.

Experience nostalgia like never before at San Diego’s newest addition – a ’70s-themed restaurant/bar coming soon to Gaslamp Quarter!
