"70K-SF Expansion and Renovation of Tulalip Resort Casino Underway"

Construction has officially commenced at Tulalip Resort Casino, as crews have broken ground on an expansion and renovation project for the property. The plans include a 70,250-square-foot addition to the existing 192,000-square-foot casino owned by the Tulalip Tribes.

This expansion will provide guests with more gaming options and amenities, as well as new design elements throughout the resort casino. Swinerton Construction from California is serving as the general contractor for this project while Rice Fergus Miller is handling architectural duties.

The Tulalip Tribes of Washington originally opened this $78 million casino in 2003 and announced their plans to significantly expand it in November of last year. The two-year project is expected to be completed by late 2025. Located just north of Everett off Interstate-5, Tulalip Resort Casino boasts a twelve-story hotel with 370 guest rooms along with over thirty thousand square feet of space for meetings, conventions and weddings. Additionally, there is also a three-thousand-seat amphitheater on site.
